About us
Breath of Praise 息颂 began as a music ministry with a simple conviction: every church needs musicians who are both skilled and ready to serve.
Our name
Our name comes from the last verse of the Psalms: “Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD.” Breath is where singing begins, and it is a gift from God. We train it, and every other instrument, to be offered back to him.
What we believe about music in church
Good worship music serves the congregation. We teach musicianship and humility together: how to play well, and how to play so others can sing.
Who we teach
Classes are open to anyone who wants to serve in worship, whether you are picking up an instrument for the first time or already serving on a team.
